A significant winter storm system is approaching, bringing the first major snowfall since… well a long time. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning from Saturday 10pm through Tuesday 10pm.
Expect difficult travel conditions, especially Monday night through Tuesday.

Navigation Center Prepares for Opening - The Truckee Navigation Center unveiled its facility this week ahead of its February 25 opening. The center will provide temporary housing, case management, and connections to permanent housing solutions. This marks a major step forward in addressing housing instability in the region.

Results
Keely Cashman and AJ Hurt (Team Palisades Tahoe) represented Team USA in the debut of the Olympic Team Combined alpine skiing event, a new format designed to showcase both speed and technical skill in a single competition. They finished 7th overall in the event.
Hanna Percy finished third in her 1/8 final and did not advance in Women’s Snowboard Cross.
JC Schoonmaker made the semifinals in the Mens Sprint before being eliminated.
